A FOND FAREWELL TO RUTH OPYT

Ruth Opyt has been at Trinity United Methodist Church for over 71 years.  She has been the "red carpet" greeter at Trinity for the past few years and we will miss her hugs and smiles on Sunday morning.  Ruth will be moving to Leesburg, Florida to be close to her daughter and son.  Ruth raised her three children, John, Lois and Ronald at Trinity and was very active with the children's choir, UMW Circle 7, and Communion Steward for over 50 years!

We will miss her but hope she will come back to Chicago to visit family and friends as soon as she has an opportunity.  Until we meet again Ruth . . .

A FOND FAREWELL TO DOROTHY FLOTT

Dorothy Flott has been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since the 1950's.  Dorothy has always been active in the United Methodist Women and also served on many committees throughout her time at Trinity, most recently the Board of Trustees.

Dorothy will be leaving Chicago this summer to live in a retirement village in South Carolina near her daughter.  We will sorely miss Dorothy's regular attendance at worship and also hearing about her many annual trips around the world.  Dorothy has been a blessing to this church and we want to wish her a very fond farewell, safe travels and good luck in her new home.  We will miss you Dorothy . . .
